The Veil: Part 3       The ground I awoke upon was cold, grainy, and hard. I could feel myself more conscious than I was while I was hacking away at the dark army. I heard a curious noise as the haze of fantasy drifted from my eyes. Certainly not the sound you'd hear on a bus, but uniform marching. One, two, one two. It started out extremely loud then began to die down dramatically to a very distant continuation of monotonous taps as I came to full consciousness. I opened my eyes hesitantly to see hundreds of people roughly a mile away walking at the exact same pace. I immediately jolted up to see where I was. Bad idea.

Watch me now as I shall render

Held in despair or in splendor

Watch closely now as I shall vanish
The heart of which you can't decide

So considering the success of my Mane Cast Genesis Sprites and my desire to see a Friendship is Magic Genesis game actually happen, I made this! All the colors and resolution are set to Sega Genesis/ Master System specifications.

Hope y'all like it! Now if only I could find a way to make this a reality... (In the words of classic Twilight "I wish, I wish, I wish!")

Edit: Thanks everyone in advance for the :+fav:s. I really appreciate the support ^^ I just have stuff I'm workin' on so I can't thank everyone individually =D

2. Replace Tails with Rainbow Dash (sprite animations, etc.)

3. Hack it into Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, whichever

^^ I'm pretty sure somepony is already on that. My original idea for this was actually to have more of a "Disney's Aladdin" platformer feel with a lighter version of Sonic's split paths system. However, I don't think I'll go any further than this animation. Although, I've been messing around with chiptune, so I might try to get some Genesis/Megadrive sounds and make some music for this game that'll most likely never happen ^^;

Yeah. You should find and befriend some people who make ROM Hacks so you can do that. :D

The pixeling on this is really good, I'm very impressed.

Although I must say in reference to the artist's comments, The pony who said "I wish I wish I wish" was Skywishes, the original one to discover starcatcher and the other Pegasus ponies. However her friend in said episode (who's name has slipped my mind) did have a cutie mark very similar to twilight sparkle's cutie mark; so it's very possible Skywishes was in fact friends with the "classic" Twilight.

Geez I feel like an old school brony now.
